 During October 2009, following the award of contract in May 2009, PSD shipped a 1000m3/hr slurry treatment plant, comprising refurbished equipment, from the UK to Hong Kong for the Leighton Asia - John Holland Joint Venture to support the slurry tunnelling works for Hong Kong Drainage Services Department Contract DC/2007/16 - Lai Chi Kok Transfer Scheme. The equipment was delivered to site in Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon in November 2009 and PSD's Paul Jones and John Bevington arrived on site on 3rd December to begin assembly. The photo dated 10 Dec 09 shows how the STP was designed to fit in to a constrained site as well as the rapid progress during the assembly of PSD's equipment. Read more
