PSD are delighted to announce that they have signed contracts with three clients to supply a Slurry Treatment Plants (STP) to projects in Adelaide, Hong Kong and Singapore. Refurbished equipment was shipped in late August 2009 to the McConnell Dowell Abigroup (ADP) Joint Venture in Adelaide for the Adelaide Desalination Project. Immediately following that, preparation began for the shipping of a 1000m3/hr STP to Hong Kong for the Leighton Asia - John Holland Joint Venture to support for the slurry tunnelling works for Hong Kong Drainage Services Department Contract DC/2007/16 - Lai Chi Kok Transfer Scheme. Equipment is due to be delivered to site in Hong Kong in December 2009.
PSD have also been awarded the contract to supply 2 No. 1400m3/hr STPs to McConnell Dowell in Singapore to support the construction of twin tunnels for Contract 916: Beatuy World Station Downtown Line Stage 2 for the Land Transport Authority. Contract 916 involves the construction of two 1050m long tunnels each excavated by slurry TBM at 6.6m diameter. Delivery of this equipment to site is scheduled for August 2010. PSD have recently completed work on Singpaore's Circle Line Contract 855.
