Bentonite piling

Many of the leading piling contractors rely on PSD equipment for better performance and quicker desanding or if they expect to encounter finer sands. We also offer waste mud clean up by on-site flocculation and centrifuging, which can usually save a lot of money in off-site disposal costs such as tankering to a special facility. 

POLYTHIN is a particularly effective bentonite mud thinner. One of its major uses is for the thinning (and desanding) of muds in diaphragm walling or bentonite piling, prior to concreting. It is also highly useful for thinning heavily contaminated muds or slurry in directional drilling and slurry shield tunnelling applications.
