PSD is pleased to announce that it has secured two major projects in Singapore, both part of the Thomson Line Metro Project for the Land Transport Authority (LTA). PSD is busy preparing equipment for both projects, which includes supplying equipment for a total of four slurry treatment plants, each supporting a 6.65m diameter slurry TBM. During a recent visit to Singapore, Adam Beeby completed the signing of both contracts. Tunnelling work on both projects is due to commence in 2015 and take up to 12 months to complete.
PSD’s experience in Singapore stretches back to the first slurry treatment plant used by LTA in Singapore and these latest projects come on the back of the very successful C916 Downtown Line project a few years ago.
